Kerala Tourism in the year 2019

Kerala’s Tourism sector is now reviving after the natural disaster in the form of flood and spread of epidemic disease Nipah fever. The rise of travelers to Kerala has been increased at 7% compared to last year, this is definitely an optimistic indication. The Kerala Flood and Nipah virus infection adversely affected all the industry segments of Kerala especially the Tourism sector. But due to the unanimous effort of the people of Kerala along with with with Government and other NGO’s support from all over the world, the social life, as well as the industrial sectors, come back with a more positive resolution to rebuild Kerala.

From January 2019 to March 2019 the statistics show a rise of 2,94,531 tourists visited Kerala compared to the previous year. The total visitors to Kerala during this period was calculated as 46,12,397. Kochi Muziris Biennale is one among the prime reason to attract more tourists to Kerala. Now they can visit the tourist sports of North Malabar and Wayanad area with much ease after the inauguration of Kannur International Stadium.

There are several resorts in Athirapilly to stay and experience the best view of nature and Casa Rio offers the best and premium resorts in Athirapally. Tourism Department points out that the most of the tourism sectors and hospitality industries are showcasing the facilities and amenities along with important natural destinations and festivals in all of their Social Media Page as part of their Digital Marketing Strategies will attract more international tourists and travel blog writers to Kerala, which is definitely a positive symptom.
